Functional Capacity Evaluations

Functional capacity evaluations are performed at the UHS Therapies Norwich location by a certified functional capacity evaluator. These objective assessments document an individuals work capabilities so as to insure an accurate match between abilities and job demands. This ensures a safe and successful return to work that protects both the employer and the employee.

SECO has been performing FCE's since 1990. Utilizing a psychophysical approach, each assessment includes a behavioral profile, a physical and functional capabilities assessment and a job history. Each individualized assessment is performed by a licensed occupational therapist that will provide a concise and detailed report. FCE's may generally be scheduled within 5 working days of request and reports will be complete within 5 working days of the assessment.
