Work Hardening
For the injured worker, these programs are an excellent bridge between physical or occupational therapy and returning to work. Individually designed to meet each worker's needs, these programs include not only strength and endurance activities but extensive job simulation, as well, in addition to instruction in body mechanics, injury prevention and lifting techniques.

- Supervised by physical or occupational therapist
- Individualized programs with a variety of workstations
- Ongoing instruction in proper body mechanics and lifting techniques
- Average length of program is 4 weeks
- Weekly progress notes provided
- Comprehensive capabilities annotated at end of program
- High return to work rate among participants
- Free post-discharge follow-up and 3 months free use of SECO facilities
